Special assistance to passengers with disabilities or medical conditions

Our airline provides extra attention and care to passengers suffering from illnesses, having disabilities or requiring assistance for other reasons. Our colleagues must be notified, at the time the ticket is purchased but no later than 48 hours prior to scheduled departure, about which of the following is the most suitable category for the passenger requiring assistance:

• Physically impaired, cannot take care of him- or herself
• Physical or mental disability
• Medical condition (e.g.: diabetes)
• Requires stretcher service
• Requires or uses oxygen canisters for breathing
• Requires special meals
• Travels with a portable kidney dialysis device
• Body measurements necessitate the need for multiple seat reservations
• Reaches week 28 of pregnancy during any segment of travel
• Requires special attention for some other reason

To passengers with diabetes

Syringes containing insulin may be taken onboard in their carry-on baggage. In such cases, passengers are required to present a physician's statement not more than three days old, issued in both Hungarian and English and containing the actual brand name of the insulin prescribed.
