Special baggage

On flights within Europe and between Europe and the Middle East the following special baggage rules apply:

• Carry-on requiring extra seat(s)
  Subject to the purchase of a separate ticket.
• Live animals carried in the cargo bay or onboard are treated as excess weight in wich case the relevant charges apply. The actual charge to be paid is determined considering the combined weight of the animal, its food and the carriage device. In case of England and Ireland animals can only be carried as cargo because animal health regulations.
  The above listed rules do not apply to search and rescue- and other types of guide dogs.
• Sporting-guns, ammunition (please inform us when booking)
  Up to 15 kg: EUR 30 or HUF 7,500 per item
  16 to 30 kg: EUR 60 or HUF 15,000 per item
  Above 30 kg: EUR 90 or HUF 22,500 per item
• Antlers and trophies
  Up to 15 kg: EUR 30 or HUF 7,500 per item
  16 to 30 kg: EUR 60 or HUF 15,000 per item
  Above 30 kg: EUR 90 or HUF 22,500 per item
• Sports equipment (e.g. golf, ski, surf, snowboard, pole vault, bicycle etc.)
  Up to 15 kg: EUR 30 or HUF 7,500 per item
  16 to 30 kg: EUR 60 or HUF 15,000 per item
  Above 30 kg: EUR 90 or HUF 22,500 per item
• Musical equipment
  Up to 15 kg: EUR 30 or HUF 7,500 per item
  16 to 30 kg: EUR 60 or HUF 15,000 per item
  Above 30 kg: EUR 90 or HUF 22,500 per item
• Scuba diving equipment in regular-sized baggage
  Free of charge, provided it does not exceed the allowed quantity or weight. Otherwise, excess baggage charges apply.
• Baby seats, strollers
  Free of charge, provided it does not exceed the allowed quantity or weight. Otherwise, excess baggage charges apply.
