Damaged Luggage

If, when claimed, the luggage is visibly damaged or incomplete, you must report this to Malév before leaving the baggage hall. If there are no visible signs of incompleteness or damage at the time the baggage is reclaimed, a report may be made within the next 7 days following their discovery. Please have your documents and the damaged luggage at hand and proceed to our Lost Luggage service located on the arrival level of terminal 2A.

If you have baggage insurance, you may turn to your insurance company or, within 21 days, to the airline, regarding any further claims.

The airline assumes no liability for the delay, loss or damage of certain goods. More details on this can be found in our Terms and Conditions.
