Dear Passengers,
From 31 August Malév Warsaw flights operate to T2 terminal at Warsaw Airport.
T2 terminal is a well equipped and state-of-the-art passenger traffic building; the terminal building is located next to the older one. The representative office serving Malév passengers is located opposite the check-in desks.
Malév has launched its new flight to St Petersburg, a city rich in unique sights and with a bustling cultural life. The city - according to UNESCO, one of the ten most attractive in Europe - offers exceptional sights such as the internationally noted Hermitage, St Isaac's Cathedral, the Church of the Saviour on the Spilled Blood and the Peter-Paul Fortress.
Malév operates flights to St Petersburg, deservedly a favourite destination for tourists and one of Europe's largest and most beautiful cities, from 22 April to 21 October.

B737NG aircraft of the national airline will also fly twice a week to Amman. The Jordanian capital takes to four the number of Malév destinations in the Middle East. A considerable proportion of the passengers on flights to the region are transit travellers connecting through Budapest, which is why the Amman scheduling - similarly to the Damascus, Lebanon and Tel Aviv flights - is closely integrated into the airline's scheduled wave to West and North Europe. Until now Malév passengers have been able to fly to Amman on code-share flight RJ-MA operated by oneworld member Royal Jordanian. However, from 1 June, only aircraft of the Hungarian carrier will link the two capitals, while the code of the Jordanian airline will also feature on the new flight.

Malév flight 872 touched down at Iasi airport on 30th March afternoon marking the opening of the Hungarian national airline's fifth destination in Romania. The airline operates five daytime flights a week until the end of May and six a week from June to this regional centre in the northeast of Romania. Flights are covered by the carrier's Q400 regional turboprops.
The new destination takes to 64 the total number of weekly flights the company operates to five cities in Romania: Bucharest, Timisoara, Tirgu Mures,
Cluj-Napoca and Iasi. Hungarian carrier has the most extensive route network in Romania among the international airlines. During 2008 the airline carried more than 218,000 passengers on its Romania flights, which represents an increase in traffic of 20% on the previous year.
Malév's latest Romanian service provides an excellent connection to the airline's West Europe scheduled wave, as a consequence of which faster and more convenient links are created between the Moldova and Bukovina regions and Budapest, and through the Hungarian hub onward to the major cities and key regions in Europe.
Malév is the only airline supplying a direct air connection between Budapest and Iasi. Air transport in the region enjoys a considerable advantage over other transport options, since crossing the Carpathians by both road and rail is a time-consuming undertaking.
The new Malév destination is also a new destination on the oneworld airline alliance route network.
