Prishtina, the capital of Kosovo, has a population of about 250.000, most of them of Albanian nationality, and a small percent of other nationalities, such as Serbs, Montenegrins, Turks, Romes-Gypsies etc. It is a crossroad of significant international routes, for the intersection of arterial roads connecting the Western and Eastern Europe with the Near East.
