Taking into consideration the demands of Duna Club members, we introduced a brand-new service to our frequent flyer programme in April 2010. This new system makes it easier to reach a higher tier status. While retaining the system of establishing Duna Club tier status by Club Points, we have also introduced tier upgrades according to the number of segments flown. (E.g. Budapest-Paris-Budapest = 2 segments)
The following table shows how many flight segments or Club Points you need to reach a given tier.

- To determine membership tier, we take into consideration only those segments flown within 1 year from the date of crediting.
- Segments valid for determining membership tier may be collected exclusively on Malév flights and on scheduled flights operated by member airlines of the oneworld alliance.
The validity of Bonus Points awarded for each given flight segment remains unchanged. These points may be used for three years from the date of flight. Upgrades to tier status are handled automatically. If your accrued Club Points or number of flown segments entitle you to a higher membership tier, we will automatically upgrade your card status and post you your new membership card.
In all cases the system automatically selects that option (segments or points) which is more favourable for you.
