Malév's winter timetable comes into effect on the morning of Sunday 25 October. Following the smooth transition from summer to winter scheduling, customers will be able to reach 61 cities in 38 countries flying from Budapest on the aircraft of the Hungarian national carrier and its partners.
The timetable switchover is justified on the basis of several seasonal factors, thus in line with the general practice of airlines and the methodology applied consistently over past decades Malév brings its winter timetable into effect at dawn on the first day of winter scheduling. In some instances this represents an increase in flight frequency: the Hungarian airline flies to Hamburg, Rome and Stockholm more often than during last winter. Furthermore, passengers have the choice of new destination, Amman which was not in the winter timetable of the previous year.
The airline's new style autumn-winter campaign offers several attention-grabbing low fares to the principal cities in the Malév network. The airline is using creatives for the autumn-winter campaign period until the end of December to advertise so attractive destinations like Amsterdam, Rome, Moscow, London, Madrid and Paris.
Groups benefit from the latest product provided by the company: group bookings (10 or more people travelling together) making ticket reservations are guaranteed the best rate on the market matched against fares of traditional and low-cost carriers. This offer is valid exclusively for scheduled flights operated by Malév. The reservation conditions refer to a Budapest departure and identical arrival station (city), on the same day with +/- 3 hours departure and arrival times to the given city, for an identical group booking with identical ticket conditions and ticket issuance conditions, and identical conditions attached to the deposit and payment. Comparison fares must include the base airfare, the airport duties, taxes and other charges. Details of this new product can be found at http://www.malev.hu/csoportar.
