Message of Malév CEO

Dear Malév and oneworld travellers,

We can be rightly proud of the fact that Malév is one of the ten superb member airlines of oneworld and that we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the alliance together with many of the world's finest global air carriers! The first ten years of the alliance have been hallmarked by quality in every respect, and this will be no different in the future. During the birthday celebrations in Madrid on 3 February the leaders of the member airlines once again unanimously affirmed the primacy of quality.

Our airline has been a member of this unique alliance for two years now; we are active within oneworld as the recognized specialist in Central and Southeast Europe destinations. As a member of oneworld we can offer our customers, through a route network spanning every corner of the world, around 700 destinations in 150 countries as well as all the services and products of the alliance. Thanks to the excellent cooperation between the members, Malév travellers can even circumnavigate the globe using just a single e-ticket, and enjoy oneworld quality services in the course of every flight. Malév Duna Club frequent flyers collect Bonus Points on the flights of all member airlines, and they can also use points on these flights. Furthermore, some 550 exclusive lounges in airports around the world are at the disposal of Gold and Platinum card holders.

On behalf of my colleagues I would like to say what a fantastic feeling it is to know that in countless airports and ticket offices all around the globe the Malév logo features on oneworld advertisements alongside such great names as American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Qantas, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, LAN and Royal Jordanian. This tenth birthday is reason to celebrate, and we are making this anniversary all the more memorable for our customers with a series of discounts and new services
