MALÉV GH operates 5 Volvo manufactured de-icing trucks equipped with Finnish KIITOKORI 3-tank proportional mixing system and 2 surveillance vehicles.
During the de-icing procedures MALÉV GH uses Type I and Type IV liquid. These de-icing liquids are regularly checked in MALÉV GH’s own laboratory. The de-icing staff provides supervision function as well and has its own radio frequency for direct communication with the aircraft’s crew.
