Catering service on board
MALÉV GH’s Cabin Supply Department provides a full-range service upon demand to all operating carriers at Budapest International Airport. In order to meet our partners needs we also supply Hungarian and foreign magazines and newspapers and provide cabin cleaning and pest control.
We rely on our partners expectations in creating their menus and they also have the opportunity to select dishes from Hungarian and international specialties.
Below we shortly describe the selection of meals, drinks and services offered on board.
Meals and drinks on board for our partners
While selecting meals and drinks our professionals take into account the flight destination, duration and the specific aircraft’s kitchen facilities. We use the HACCP system to ensure that all the products are good quality and are in compliance with security and health regulations.

In Business Class
On the morning flight we serve an affluent warm breakfast and for the main course we select usually four dishes according to the demands of our partners.
In Economy Class
We usually serve breakfast or a main course-type warm dish or a sandwich.
To complete the meals, our partners may select items and products from Hungarian and international brands.
Special meals
To comply with the international standards, MALÉV GH offers, special meals according to IATA recommendations. Special meals can be ordered through travel agencies, for Malév flights at MALÉV offices and MALÉV call center at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure.

Choice of Beverages during the flight
The Business Class offers carefully selected Hungarian fine white and red wines. Moreover the selections consist of canned soft drinks and beer, coffee, tea and premium categories of mineral water. Our offers also include a variety of Tokaji wines and Unicum.
Our quality services in catering and cabin supplies are ensured by the 8 elevated platform catering vehicle and with our constantly updated information technology.
