Duty Handling Managers
The Duty Handling Managers’ priority is the continuous control and supervision of handling procedures, to take operational decisions and to efficiently deal with problems during aircraft handling. They have the authority to re-group resources in case of any urgency or incident during the handling procedures. Duty Handling Managers decide about aircraft handling on ad-hoc basis and communicate with airline representatives.

Ground Handling Surveillance Team
Our Surveillance Team is responsible for monitoring and supervising the observation and fulfillment of Service Level Agreements of partner airlines and our own Ground Handling Technology. They keep record of audit results and through a continuous feedback, they also make recommendations for improvement.
Ramp Handling
Our ramp officers are responsible for preparing all documentation regarding the flight (load control documents) and coordinating all ground handling activities such as fueling, loading, cabin maintenance, passenger handling, operating ground support equipment and the catering. Ramp officers perform their duties on scheduled, ad-hoc, and charter flights and they are also trained to handle special and cargo flights.
The Ramp Handling group’s duty is to supervise the proper transact of aircrafts’ loading and unloading from opening of baggage and cargo-hold doors until their closing. Moreover they are responsible for directing all ground handling equipments to approach the aircraft, doing push back communication, placing chocks and safety cones.
The safety is crucial in this field, therefore MALÉV GH emphasizes the importance of continuous trainings to its ramp officers.
Loading Team
The loading staff’ responsibility has two main parts, one is the classification of checked and transfer baggages and the actual loading of the aircraft. They are in tight contact with ramp handling group and the cargo staff. They are also responsible for handling dangerous goods and livestock in compliance with aviation security regulations.
The Ground Service Equipment operation team operates and handles all necessary equipment (see equipment list) during aircraft handling.
