The primary tasks of the directorate - hereafter Malév Air Cargo - include the transport of cargo by air, the maximum utilization of the cargo capacities of passenger aircraft, the complete handling of cargo, plus the provision of other related or special services as required.
As regards the domestic market, Malév Air Cargo markets the greater part of its services with the assistance of agents, while a smaller proportion of turnover derives from major corporations and private commissions. In contrast, sales abroad are almost entirely conducted through general sales agents working from each station; their task is first and foremost to promote the sale of Malév Air Cargo services in the given country, as well as to coordinate and further develop these activities. Our customer service always plans the most convenient route for your shipment so that it arrives as quickly and efficiently as possible.
